They Freed A Lot of PeopleAnybody here seen My Old Friend Abraham? Can you tell me where he's gone? He freed a lot of people. But seems The Good, they die young. You know, I just looked around. And he's gone. Anybody here seen My Old Friend John? Can you tell me where he's gone? He freed a lot of people. But seems The Good, they die young. I just looked around. And he's gone. Anybody here seen My Old Friend Bobby? Can you tell me where he's gone? He freed a lot of people. But seems The Good, they die young. I just looked around. And he's gone. Anybody here seen my old friend T.C.? Can you tell me where he's gone? He freed a lot of people. But seems The Good, they die young. I just looked around. And he's gone. Didn't you just love the things that they stood for? Didn't they try to find some good for you and me? So we'll be FREE. Someday soon it's gonna be one day... Anybody here seen My Old Friend T.C.? Can you tell me where he's gone? Thought I saw him walkin' up over the hill, With Abraham, Bobby, Martin, and John. |

Dear GetWell Friends... These are the sad and sentimental lyrics of a song from the 70s, commemorating The Humanitarians, assassinated for their Good Works: Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, and The Kennedy Brothers. GetWell Friend John Bardaro has spoken often to me of his "List of Heroes," which includes these men, as well as T.C. Fry, whose name I have taken the liberty to add.
