Victoria's Notes... AGAR-AGAR is an exotic sea veggie. This product comes off the Coast of Morocco. And it is found frequently in The Raw Food Movement Recipe Books as a thickener and in place of animal gelatins. DULSE, KELP, and NORI contain high amounts of naturally occuring sodium; and like celery flakes they have delightfully salty tastes! Health Seekers like them for this reason. You can add sea veggie flakes, granules, and powders to your Victory Veggie Seasonings or you can put them in a salt shaker for your dining table. Only very small amounts of the leaves, granules, and powders are generally used in any given serving. All SEA VEGGIES tend to be especially high in minerals, as they feed off the natural ocean sediments and minerals found in ocean water suspension. The NORI sheets are typically used in SAD recipes to roll up fish, especially raw fish. Vegetarians and Hygienists, however, use NORI to roll up yummy veggie salads and sauces and mixes!
