How Is It That The Hygienist Gets Overweight???
All human bodies become overweight for basically the same reasons:
#1... We eat the wrong quantities, usually of the wrong kinds of foods.
#2... We consume more calories than are burned-off in our daily activities.
#3... A precursor to these 2 mistakes in living habits is a sell-out on the emotional/ mental/spiritual levels. We "get fat" FIRST on these non-material levels. We give up. We fall off The Wagon. We look the other way. We take the path of least resistance. We fall into spiritual darkness and seek comfort in food. We quit. Obesity has been called by the psychotherapists "an eating disorder run rampant." In The Word of God, obesity is "a result of disobedience and gluttony and sloth getting control of the soul."
Obesity is a disease. And the way out, as in all disease processes, is to reverse those processes with Disciplined Natural Hygiene.
